Ronda L. Dearing, PhD

Ronda L. Dearing is a clinical psychologist with a PhD from George Mason University. Prior to her time at BBEARG, she was a senior research scientist at the Research Institute on Addictions at the University at Buffalo. In that capacity, she served as an investigator on multiple National Institutes of Health grants. Her focus of study included problematic alcohol use, treatment and treatment-seeking for alcohol problems, and shame as it relates to addiction. She has co-authored two books on shame, one on addictions, and numerous research articles.
